Video: BMW M4 GTS vs Porsche 911 GT3

The BMW M4 GTS can no doubt go face to face with the brand new Porsche 911 GT3. The 911 GT3 is considered as the gold standard in supercars because of its capabilities on the track. The newest generation takes it up a notch; making sure it is sensationally good. The new BMW M4 GTS is here to challenge that. It is a track monster that can take on the Porsche masterpiece. Let’s see how it scores in this track battle:

The video showed both the M4 GTS and 911 GT3 racing to the best of their abilities at the Hockenheim. In the beginning, the M4 GTS driver was really working hard. Thanks to its 493 hp water-injected 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged I6 engine, it performs and sounds absolutely great. It allowed the driver to handle difficult curbs and apexes with extreme precision. It is a controllable car and is just fun to drive.

The Porsche 911 GT3 on the other hand is a track car loved by many. It is powered by a 3.8 liter naturally-aspirated flat-six engine that sounds incredible at 9,000 rpm. Just by looking at the video, it looks like this is the smoother car among the two.

In the end, the Porsche 911 GT3 was able to complete the Kleiner Kurs with a 1:09.2 time, while the BMW M4 GTS was able to do it in 1:09.6. That’s a small margin! It is so close that the small difference may account for driver skill or other factors. At this point, it is not easy to tell which one is really better. It will all boil down to preference.

Thanks to Sport Auto for the video!
