[Video] Designer Tour of the BMW 8 Series Concept

When BMW recently showed off a concept of the 8 Series, they claimed that the design was near production ready. The beautiful appearance of this concept makes us miss the BMW 6 Series a little less. It is one of the most beautiful designs we have seen from BMW in a long time. To know more about the elements BMW put into this car, check out this designer tour by the car’s exterior designer himself, John Buckingham:

Buckingham was able to highlight things that we would not otherwise notice. This includes the lines down the hood of the car that extend up through the roof and the rest of the car. The silhouette of this car is just beautiful. It is simple, sporty and elegant. We sincerely hope to see the production car taking a lot of elements from this concept, as promised by BMW.
