Rast’s victory was secured after a thrilling performance during Sunday’s race. He climbed up from third place in qualifying and took advantage of a flawless pit stop, taking the lead and holding off Porsche’s Thomas Preining to claim victory. This win not only cements Rast’s position as the highest-ranked BMW driver but also further strengthens Schubert Motorsport’s lead as they head into the final races at Hockenheim.
