Schubert Motorsport capped off the 2024 DTM season in style at Hockenheim, clinching the team championship title for the second time since 2022. Under Torsten Schubert’s leadership, the team delivered a stellar performance, with René Rast driving the #33 RoboMarkets BMW M4 GT3 to a third-place finish, securing crucial points to claim the championship.
The BMW M4 GT3 was a key factor in Schubert Motorsport’s success throughout the season. With power, precision, and reliability, the car helped drivers René Rast, Sheldon van der Linde, and Marco Wittmann achieve four race victories and multiple podium finishes. By the end of the season, Schubert Motorsport topped the standings with 361 points, 35 points clear of their nearest rivals.
Despite facing qualifying difficulties during the season, the BMW M4 GT3 shone in race conditions. During the final weekend, all three drivers made remarkable comebacks, with Rast climbing from 11th to third while Wittmann and van der Linde fought their way through the field. The #33 BMW M4 GT3 proved worth, showing resilience and delivering strong performances in crucial moments.
Beyond DTM, Schubert Motorsport’s BMW M4 GT3 also competed in the ADAC GT Masters, where Maxime Oosten and Leon Köhler finished the season in second place. While the team faced setbacks in ADAC GT4 Germany, the BMW M4 GT3’s impact across various series demonstrated its competitive edge and Schubert Motorsport’s strength as a racing team.
