An image of the 2012 BMW 6 Series Convertible has been published by AutoBild.de. This photo can be a leaked official image or a scanned photo from an official brochure. But then again, it can also be photoshopped. Previous reports claim that the 6 Series Cabrio will be a hardtop, but the latest spy photos and information from BMW suggest its a soft top.
The 2012 BMW 6 Series will have shorter overhangs, wider fender flares, and the size will be between the new 5 Series and the 7 Series. A combination of diesel and petrol engines will be offered. The 640d will have an N57 turbocharged straight-6 common rail diesel engine delivering 306 horsepower. The 650i will have the 4.4 liter V8 Twin-turbo engine.
