2016 BMW M2 prototype with four-tailpipe exhausts, spotted!

World Car Fans present recent spy photos that clear any doubt that the BMW M2 is in works. The successor to the first “baby-M” will go in production in November 2015. Deliveries will begin in early 2016. It will be positioned above the BMW M235i and below the M3 and M4 models, which wil create a nice pricing gap for the models.

The first F87 BMW M2 prototype was spotted last month during testing session where it showed an aggressive-looking front fascia and the rear spoiler and the signature M four-exhaust pipes.

BMW M2 is have the same chassis technology ast the M3 and M4, including an electronically controlled limited slip rear differential dubbed Active M Differential. The BMW M2 prototype is currently powered by an updated version of the N55 TwinPower 3.0 liter engine (N55B30T0). Power output is expected to be at 380hp.

The BMW M2 is expected to not run on a limited production so it will be easier to get your hands on.
