The BMW Abu Dhabi Motors is back with a new project. Following countless M projects, the Middle East dealership focuses on the BMW Z4 m40i, probably the Bavarians’ last highway.
The project starts with a tuning kit from AC Schnitzer, the German tuning shop. Moreover, the AC Schnitzer parts emphasize the dimensions and sporting look of the Z4 Roadster, starting with the front divider and the side skirt attachments and ending with the rear spoiler lip in two parts.
The side air inlets of the front apron and the exterior mirror caps are also made of Cerium Gray and the kidney surroundings. The 19-inch light 800 M Bicolor wheels complete this Z4 M40i’s reinforced look. The exterior is the stunning and brilliant Misano Blue paired with Magma Red’s leather tapestry and Tetragon’s aluminum interior.
The price of the Z4 M performance model in the U.S starts at $63,700. This will give you a straight-six three-liter engine of 382 HP and a torque of 369 lb. BMW claims that the roadster sprints 0-60 mph, which is better than anyone else’s expectations, in 3.9 seconds. For your car’s exterior appearance, you can choose between six different colors: the Alpine White to the Black Sapphire, the Glacier Silver, the Misano Blue, the San Francisco Red, and Frozen Grey II.
This BMW Z4 M40i is constructed on the same chassis as the new Toyota Supra. Lighter, more rigid, and more dynamic than its predecessor. It also features a perfect 50/50 weight distribution, making it one of the best riders in the current BMW portfolio. We have no word about the price of the AC Schnitzer upgrades, but we can expect a premium of at least $5,000 based on previous constructions.
