BMW is well-known for amazing vehicle concepts. BMW M3 pick-up truck was released a few years ago, and BMW M3 E93 Convertible served as a base. The new surprise awaits soon: will BMW i3 pick-up really be made?
The new BMW i3 pick-up truck is here!
The Germans obviously love leaving things open, even when they officially announce the vehicle. The M3 pick-up was unveiled on April 1st, and once again they chose the same date to announce the i3 pick-up version. Still, this is not an April Fools’ joke – the model is real!
The model’s perks include the new, all-electric BMW i3 pick-up truck include upgraded battery with 32.9 kWh capacity, compared to the old one with the capacity of 22 kWh. This will allow the car to go up to 230 km on a single charge.
With the enhanced battery life, the car will require less frequent charging and will be able to handle longer distances. By doing this, the engineers are taking electric cars a step further, making them more practical for daily use.
