Target clients of the BMW 5 Series in Malaysia who are fans of the black-out look now have another model to choose from – enter the BMW 530i M Sport Dark Shadow Version.
The gasoline-powered G30 5 series with darkened aesthetics is limited to a run of 36 models. The nameplate indicated the B48 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol inline four-cylinder engine. An automatic eight-speed transmission generates 252hp from 5,200 to 6,500rpm and 350 Nm of torque between 1,450 and 4,800rpm.
The Dark Shadow Edition begins with the exclusive use of Carbon Black exterior paint. It incorporates Shadow Line parts consisting of black window trim, high-gloss black kidney grid. It comes with 20-inch M Performance alloy wheels finished in Orbit Gray, including tire pressure monitoring.
Going inside, the Shadow Edition features an option of Dakota leather trim in black with blue stitching or Cognac with contrast stitching. All in, the 530i M Sport Dark Shadow Version weighs in at RM392,800 on-road without protection. RM10,000 more than the standard 530i M Sport at RM382,800. The Shadow Line trim and the M Output wheelset are RM37,000 when listed separately, claims BMW Malaysia.
At the prototype will launch on January 4 at the BMW Online Shop, where customers will mark bookings for this specific framework. The limited-run 5 series will be on sale at designated dealerships from January to February 18.
