BMW Bids to Purchase Saab

Recent reports on Saab’s bankruptcy involves BMW. Saabs United has reported that 6-7 companies have places their bids to purchase Saab, which is currently in bankruptcy proceedings. The same report says that one European company “is German and located in Munich,” which is undoubtedly BMW. However, there are other companies including Asian ones that have also placed their bids. Saab will not be sold to the highest bidder. Instead, they will choose the company offering the best proposal in terms of their company, employee, creditors, and other benefits.

BMW could be interested to purchase Saab in relation to their future plans of developing FWD vehicles, including larger ones.
