BMW CEO: Electric Cars are Long-Term Commitment

After the last Vision Next 100 concept, the BMW Motorrad, BMW’s CEO talked about their plans for electric vehicles.

The people who saw the Motorrad Vision Next 100 concept were impressed both by its looks and the technology. The concept is, unsurprisingly, electric, hinting that this is the direction BMW will be heading in the future.

Harald Krueger, the CEO, wanted to share more of the company’s plans.  He said that the BMW team which debated the potential of electrification in the future has identified range, pricing, and infrastructure as three most important factors for EV to gain the advantage.

Krueger pointed out that there is a likely possibility of more electric and hybrid cars in the near future.
