The debut of the new BMW G30 Series is already scheduled on October 12, U.S. timezone. But before that, the car reveals a few more design details to get us all excited. These screenshots were taken from the promotional video that BMW released. These images give a closer look at the headlights, taillights and interior design of the car. It is a bit blurry, but still very interesting!
The BMW 5 Series 2017 has a kidney grille that is strikingly molded. The headlights are directly connected to the grilles and look very dynamic compares to the 7 Series. The LED headlights also feature a prominent eyebrow above which flows directly into the side of the kidney grille.
The front skirt features a continuous air inlet that helps improve the air resistance in the front wheel arches. It also has Air Breathers behind the front wheels that gives better wheel arch ventilation.
The subtle rear spoiler present on the trunk and L-shaped LED taillights make the rear end look very aggressive.
It has a whole suite of lightweight materials such as doors, roof and rear decklid made from aluminum. Overall, the new 5 Series is lighter, leaner, stronger and has a lot of technological advancements.
