BMW global sales for the first half of 2010 up up by 14%

BMW continues to soar as the largest luxury car manufacturer in the world. For last month alone, BMW sold 13.7% more vehicles. This translates to 119,663 BMWs sold in June alone, which bringing half year sales total to 585,755 vehicles sol. BMW for a gained of 14.1% overall for the first half of 2010.

BMW has outpaced the growth of their Mini brand which only sold 23,202 vehicles for June, and a total of 110,000 for the first half of 2010.

BMW sales chief Ian Robertson confirmed that they intend to continue this good performance for the latter half of 2010 as the recovery for the luxury car market increases.
