The 2016 BMW M4 GTS is the most radical version of the M4 Coupe. It is lighter and more powerful, fit for the race track. Rumor has it that it will feature the laser lights and OLED taillights.
Sources say that the exclusivity of the 2016 BMW M4 GTS will come from the organic light emitting diodes which allow the light to be generated through a thin semiconductor layer that offer the advantages of being more efficient and allow new design possibilities with an unmistakable light signature.
The GTS will also have the front and rear bumpers of the BMW M4 Iconic Lights Concept, plus an aerodynamic package completed with a spectacular fixed rear wing made of lightweight carbon fiber, the same material used for the roof, similar to the BMW M4 Coupe MotoGP Safety Car.
A lot of carbo fibre will be used to achieve a weight of approximately 1,450 kilos. It may also lose the rear seats and opt for racing bucket seats in the front.
Power-wise, the car will have an inline-six M TwinPower Turbo of the standard version, but with a power that stretches from the original 431 hp to 460-470 hp. The six-cylinder will probably adopt the new Water Injection system which injects water spray into the engine to achieve additional cooling.
