BMW helped boost Europe car output to 2010 high in June

The surging demand for BMW cars had helped a lot in pushing the European auto production to its highest monthly total of 2010. In combination with the sales of other German premium brands Audi and Mercedes-Benz, a total of 1,591,586 cars were made in Europe for the month of June alone. This outranked the March 2010 as the most productive month, producing around 1,584,431 units. In just six months, European production is now up 21% to 8,794,091, according to J.D. Power data.

BMW 5 Series is definitely attracting more wealthy buyer to invest in luxury vehicles not only in Europe, but in United States and China as well. We have recently reported that BMW added 5,000 temporary employees and added shifts just to meet the increased demand for BMW cars. In June alone, BMW had increased their production by more than 20%.
