BMW M3 Tiger Edition Roars in China

The BMW M3 Tiger Edition exclusive to the Chinese Market represents the metal tiger year in China and BMW M3’s 25 anniversary in Beijing. As in Chinese tradition, the Year of the Tiger represents a mix between hot ferocity and cold metal. This concept was realized exactly in the BMW M3 Tiger Edition.

This vehicle is basically an BMW M3 GTS and a BMW M3 Coupé combination with the Competition Package but without the carbon-fibre roof. The reason for this is that all BMW M3 coupés in China are sold exclusively with a glass sliding roof. Its Orange Metallic paint in combination with the black Novillo leather interior, 19″ wheel rims in 359M design, and exclusive Tiger logos on the headrests make this limited edition model one of a kind. The black grilles, air intakes, gills, and chromium exhaust pipe provide a beautiful color contrast. Under the hood, it has the standard 4.0-litre, 420bhp V8 engine with BMW M dual clutch transmission and the BMW M3 Competition Package.

The BMW M ancestral gallery went on show in China and showcased a number of vehicles from the BMW M1 to the BMW M3 GT2. BMW works driver, Jörg Müller presented the vehicle. BMW M Boss Dr. Kay Segler was also there wearing a BMW M leather jacket in a classic racing design.
