A stunning BMW M4 Series Gran Coupe with a black and white exterior combination arrived all the way from South Africa. Showcasing an M Sport Package with the extended Shadow Line option, the BMW 420i Gran Coupe stands out with the added black accent in contrast to the Mineral White Metallic colour. The Shadow Line features a black lacquered kidney frame, black chrome tailpipe trims, and a black “hockey stick” on the side.
On the outside, additional dark highlights are provided by the M Sport package’s diffuser insert in the rear apron. It also comes with the 19-inch light-alloy wheels in the Y-spoke 859 M bicolour design which offers additional dark accents.
The majority of press and marketing photos highlights the 4 Series Gran Coupe with the optional laser lights. Aside from the features mentioned above, this 420i coupe allowed us to have a glimpse of “regular†LED headlights.
Under the hood, it is powered by an entry-level B48 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 184hp and 300NM of torque. Mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. And reaches the top speed of 235 km/h.
The new Gran Coupe retains the 4 Series grille, which is perhaps the most divisive design element in BMW history. The rest of the automobile features a sleek and dynamic style with a stunning roofline to complement it.
Most customers drive about in similar-looking vanilla crossovers nowadays, especially in America. The M4 Series Gran Coupe has carved out its own niche and grown a loyal clientele base as a result.
