BMW M5 All-Wheel Drive Rumored for Line up

Autocar reports that there might be an all-wheel drive BMW M5 in the future. BMW M head of Research and Development Albert Biermann gave the initial hint to this rumor back in April. The interest in building this car came as a response to the Mercedes all-wheel drive vehicles that are selling well in the U.S.

In Autocar's report, they are quoting another BMW official who says that they will m ost likely make a four-wheel drive M5. At the moment, none of these rumors can be confirmed yet.The 2012 BMW M5 will make its official debut this June and will be publicly revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
