Both Collard and Menzel have been selected among a large pool of candidates. They have proven themselves to be deserving of the position and BMW believes that their skills are fit for the team. Both of them have been scouted by BMW Motorsport experts at a shootout in the BMW M235i Racing last month. They will receive a comprehensive training within the BMW Motorsport Junior programme. Marquardt wishes them the best this season and hopes that they could follow the footsteps of Krohn and Delétraz.

The BMW Motorsport Juniors programme was just realigned in 2014. The success of this initiative can be seen in how Krohn and Delétraz successfully raced in the BMW M6 GT3 at the ADAC GT Masters. BMW is honored to welcome talented, young people in the family of drivers. They seek to help jumpstart the career of these young drivers and propel them to top GT racing categories by providing them proper tools.

Krohn and Delétraz will be at Sachsenring (DE) by the end of this week where they will participate in their first race together in the BMW M6 GT3 Schubert Motorsport car. This is an exciting new challenge for both young drivers since the ADAC GT Masters is one of the strongest GT racing series in the world.

Krohn says that being a part of the BMW Motorsport Juniors programme for three years has been utterly amazing. He is utterly excited to race at Sachsenring for the first time. He also loved the opportunity to meet the new faces, Collard and Menzel in the welcome event.

Both newbies are very proud to be part of the programme and they will do everything in their power to become the best drivers that they can be.
