BMW predicts higher fourth quarter sales

Based on the surging demand in China, BMW is expecting higher fourth-quarter sales. BMW forecasts a double digit percentage increase for the fourth quarter of 2010. With the refreshed versions of the 5-series sedan and wagon, BMW is very confident about sales increase. The rebound from the financial crisis renewed an interest in luxury cars that benefited BMW.
BMW Sales Chief Ian Robertson said: “We have exceptional new products and intend to maintain this upward trend. We expect to see robust growth in the double-digit percentage range.” BMW is targeting at least 10% increase for 2010.
