Nick Heidfeld from the BMW Sauber Formula 1 team pilots the F1 car over the frozen lake of St. Moritz, Switzerland to mark the 100th anniversary of White Turf St. Moritz, an annual internation horse race event. Drive the car over the lake was a challenge as the icy temperatures meant that the engine had to be rewarmed every half an hour with special radiator covers. The car was also fitted with spiked tyres to assist it with it’s route across the circuit.
