BMW is reportedly considering a BMW X1 M to follow the success of the BMW X1. This model will have a sport-tuned suspension, a high performance braking system, and a very aggressive body kit to fit those who like a more sporty SUV. Nothing is official at the moment, but rumor has it that this vehicle will be powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine delivering 315 horsepower (235 kW / 320 PS) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque matted to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The X1 M will most likely accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately 5 seconds.
Since BMW’s focus is now on the M5 and the M5, there are no announcements yet on when the BMW X1 M will be launched.
