BMW X4 Concept Rumored to Premiere in 2011

Rumors of a smaller X6 Sports Activity Coupe has been going in since 2007. However, as BMW developed new ideas centered to cost cutting and sustainability, this has been temporarily put on the side. However, the latest rumors from Munich suggest that the BMW X4 has already to the Concept stage. If these rumors are true, the BMW X4 we can expect to see the X4 concept in 2011, and the production model between late 2013 to early 2014.

The BMW X4 is expected to share most of its parts with the X3 and will be built at the Spartanburg plant. In preparation for this, the Spartanburg plant have increased its capacity from 160,000 to 240,000.

According to Autoweek, the BMW X4 will be a smaller 4 seater with increased sporty design that will allow MW to position it higher than the X3. Since the design is not yet final, it can still change direction and surprise us all.
