BMW X4 M40i Spotted

While BMW denies any BMW X4 M model, a spy photographer spotted a BMW X4 M40i test prototype. The X4 M40i will sit above the X4 xDrive35i and will use a new 3.0 liter turbocharged inline-six engine delivering between 360 and 380 horsepower. The engine will be matted to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Just like all the M Performance Automobiles, the X4 M40i will come with the M Sport Package, tweaked chassis with a stiffer suspension setup, upgraded wheels, M Performance brakes and sporty steering wheel. The test mule seen below comes with blacked out kidney grilles and black wheels. BMW is expected to release their M40i model in late 2015.
