Abu Dhabi brings out into the world the first live photo of the BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition. The Middle East is one of the most important markets for the luxury SUV alongside the U.S.. Within a short time, it has opened up a highly appealing segment for BMW. With only 500 units available worldwide, the special edition Dark Shadow offers more exclusivity and special appearance. At a simple glance, the Frozen Arctic Grey is undoubtedly an eye-catcher.
In these newly released live photos, the new color Frozen Arctic Gray looks much bluer compared to the first official press photos. It was more like a resemblance to the Frozen Black or Frozen Dark Gray. Its silky-matte shimmering blue-gray blends with the dark details of the Shadow Line, including extended features.
On the front end of the X7, the double kidney grille received an upgrade and now looks even more prominent. Its wheels come in 22-inch V-spoke 755 M light-alloy to achieve that powerful and sporty aura.
As for the drivetrain, the BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition offers rather average performance. The BMW X7 model on display in Abu Dhabi currently has xDrive40i with 333 hp in-line six-cylinder and 48-volt electrical system. Nevertheless, this 7-seater model still provides relatively fast performance in the standard spring. It accelerates from 0 to 100 in 6.3 seconds and has a 243 km/h (151 mph) maximum speed.
