Autoblog reports that the E89 Z4, released back in 2009, is now due for its life cycle impulse (LCI). Prototypes have already been spotted in Germany, which indicates that we will see the refreshed vehicle in a couple of months. However, no major changes are expected. Minor changes can be seen on the headlights, taillights, side mirrors and gills. The lights will feature brighter daytime running lights with white corona rings and the illuminated eyebrow at the top of the light unit. The side mirrors will also have signal indicators. It will also have the latest generation iDrive and navigation system, along with the a free-standing display that will replace the currently installed folding monitor. The BMW Z4 LCI is expected to launch in 2013.
