The BMW Manufacturing has just announced that the Zentrum museum, a famous part of the BMW plant, will be reopened. That’s exactly what happened on Monday, October 17.
The President and CEO of BMW Manufacturing, Manfred Erlacher, and President and CEO of BMW North America, Ludwig Willich, opened the museum and presented the restored BMW 507, previously owned by Elvis Presley.
Manfred Erlacher said:
The Zentrum is symbolic of many things, but first and foremost, it is the only BMW museum in America, It is also a landmark, a gathering place, and a venue where BMW displays and celebrates its history.
While Zentrum museum will still offer a glimpse into the BMW’s past, the museum will also offer many new models, including the BMW sedans and the X models which were produced at the Spartanburg plant. The huge video will play the HD films about the BMW history, BMW commercials, and product films.
The Zentrum and Communications Specialist, Amber Scruggs, said:
We are very excited with the changes and new exhibits that Associates and customers will experience. We’re also thrilled to showcase the classic BMW 507 once owned by Elvis Presley.
