The design stages of a BMW sure is exciting. This is because the design stage is where the artist enjoys the freedom to express his vision of the car. When the actual design process reaches its latter stages, the design will begin to get distorted by safety regulations and necessary design standards. These sketches are drawn on pieces of paper at the beginning of the Grand Coupe concept unveiled last month at Beijing. People were amazed on how the Grand Coupe seem to be closer to the production model design than last year’s Vision Efficient Dynamics unveiled at Frankfurt. Until the Gran Coupe Concept makes its European debut at the Paris Motor Show this fall, let us for the time being enjoy these design sketches:
