Eight Millionth BMW Produced: 520d at Dingolfing Plant

BMW’s Dingolfing plant in Germany has just rolled off the the eight millionth BMW vehicle. The 520d was for Piepenbrock Group of Companies who remain to be loyal patrons of the brand. They have already purchased more than a hundred BMW cars for their company’s perusal.

The Dingolfing plant is the biggest BMW plant all over the world — producing more than 1,400 vehicles per day. The new BMW 5 Series remains to be a bestseller for BMW. This diesel turbocharged 184hp BMW 520d delivers world class-leading emission levels of 129g/km of CO2. It also has a combined fuel consumption of 57.6mpg.
