G-Power M5 Hurricane RS creates new world’s fastest sedan record

The G-Power M5 Hurricane RS was declared the fastest sedan in the world back in 2008, achieving the top speed of 228.4 mph. It easily beat the 227.2 mph record of the Brabus Rocket which held that title for a long time. The M5 that G-Power worked with then was just capable of a top speed of 200 mph. But G-Power has even grander plans for the G-Power M5 Hurricane RS. In fact, they managed to exceed expectations by reaching a top speed of 231.2 mph in a tuning test. Whether this was achieved in a track or peal, we cannot confirm yet.

G-Power utilizes a very simple BMW V10 engine and added two superchargers from ASA, G-Power’s technology partner.  The G-Power Hurricane M5 RS is capable of 800 horsepower, 800 Nm of torque and 372 km/h top speed — really impressive numbers that will make its price tag of 300, 000 Euros seem small.
