Even though the BMW sales have dropped since June last year, the Bavarians still managed to outsell two major car companies last month in the U.S.
This is a great success for BMW, as it’s the first time this year they did better than the mentioned rivals. Here’s the sales statistics:
- BMW June 2016 sales: 28,885
- Mercedes June 2016 sales: 28,473
- Lexus June 2016 sales: 25,779
Within the first six months of this year, BMW had a 9% decrease in sales, totaling 153,436 units, while Mercedes sold 9,000 units more.
The most popular BMW model right now is the X3; its sales went 69% up from the last month. Compared to the first half of the last year, the Germans sold 1,3% fewer vehicles.
