In a few weeks’ time, the upcoming G30-generation BMW 5 Series will be revealed to the public. A lot of speculations have been circulating online about what his car really brings to the table. However, we are only sure about a few things; including it being built using the CLAR chassis architecture and B48 and B58 engines will be featured. We really didn’t know much aside from the basics until this ordering guide was leaked online.
The ordering guide leaked is specifically for the US market. The sheet shows all options available for the upcoming G30 BMW 5 Series. There are three new color options: Dark Graphite Metallic, Atlas Cedar Metallic and Bluestone Metallic. For the 530i, the same two SensaTec seating colors, Canberra Beige and Black. As for real leather options, both the 530i and 540i will have Dakota and Nappa leather options to choose from, with two new Dakota leather colors, Cognac and Night Blue. All real leather options have contrast stitching.
It reveals that the four model variants of the 5 Series will include the BMW 530i and 540i, with both cars having an xDrive all-wheel drive variant. The 530i will be powered by BMW’s B48 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and the 540i will have the B58 3.0 liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine. Rumor has it that there will also be an M550i variant, but it was not revealed on the sheet.
A few interesting options include Gesture Control, new Integral Active Steering (rear-wheel steering), and Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound systems. Other than that, the packages and options list have not changed that much.
