This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed gives BMW a fantastic opportunity to introduce some of its unique cars. Revealed at the famous venue, one of them is the new BMW 2 Series Coupe. A Portimao Blue 220d, a Thundernight Metallic M240i, and the 2022 BMW M240i in Brooklyn Grey were among the cars on exhibit.
The Thundernight Metallic is a terrific shade of purple. It is the only new colour option for the exterior paint on the 2 Series. For the non-M240i variants, the Jet Black is only available. While Alpine White, Black Sapphire Metallic, Melbourne Red, Mineral White, Portimao Blue, and Brooklyn Gray are the remaining colours.
Several eco-friendly and Vernasca leather upholstery options are available for the interior of the 2 Series Coupe. The Cloth Alcantara/Sansatec Black with blue contrast stitching is available only for M Sport and M240i models. BMW also includes Vernasca Tacora Red, Oyster, Black, Cognac and Sensatec Black, Cognac, and Canberrabeige. With a few metal and plastic options, wood choices are no longer available for the interior trims. M Aluminium Tetragon, High-gloss Black, Aluminium Mesheffect and Dark Graphite matte are the only choices.
There will be three trim levels available for the new 2 Series Coupe. With softer features, the baseline is essentially a toned-down version of the M Sport. On the other hand, the front-mounted triangle side air vents and M emblems on the front wings distinguish the M Sport version. Cerium Gray accents in the kidney grille and front air inlets differentiate the 2022 BMW M240i model. It also sports an outer cap of the M external mirrors and the margins of the trapezoidal exhausts.
Many of the wheel models are derived from the bigger sibling 4 Series Coupe, starting with 17 inches and continuing up to 19 inches. Overall, with a wide range of personalisation options, the BMW 2 Series Coupe includes many choices to cater to every customers’ preferences. Customers are expecting the BMW Individual and new paintworks to be available soon.
