BMW Blog reports that a diesel engine will be available for the new BMW 6 Series Coupe in September. During its unveiling, BMW introduced the new 6 Series vehicle with only two engine configurations: the 320 horsepower BMW 640i and the 407 horsepower BMW 650i, the top model in the range. The diesel variant could be the 635d model with a new engine that offers better fuel consumption. The turbocharged diesel will also be matted to the fuel-efficient eight-speed automatic transmission.

Good news is that the new 6 Series Coupe can also be ordered with the M-Sport Package. Choose between 19 or 20 inch alloy wheels together with bigger tires and a fresh exhaust system with improved acoustics and Dark Chrome tail pipes.
