The new 530d xDrive now delivers an extra 15 kW / 21 PS (21hp) compared to the outgoing, pre-LCI variant. Bringing the peak output to a maximum of 210 kW / 286 PS (282hp).

Under heavy and continuous mechanical loads, the mild hybrid unit supports the ICE and provides 8 kW / 11 PS (11hp) of output. The diesel power plant’s torque has also increased by 30 Nm and is now 650 Nm, fully available between 1,500 and 2,500rpm.

The new 530d xDrive Touring accelerates in just 5.6 seconds from standstill to 100 km / h. This is equal to a boost of 0.1 seconds compared to the 530d Touring rear-drive. The new mild-hybrid diesel unit from Moreso is fully compliant with the stringent emission level of EURO 6d and is more frugal than the outbound non-MHEV B57 engine.

The G31 LCI also comes with a host of innovative support and digital systems, just like the new 5 Series Sedan and the 6 Series GT. A wide range of functions and innovations are now readily available in the latest 5 Series Touring facelift. This is to ensure a robust level of autonomous driving, such as the optional Driving Assistant and Driving Assistant Specialist.

The LCI generation is entirely based on the BMW OS 7.0 interface. And also introduces cloud-based BMW Maps navigation. The latest updated BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, the standard Apple CarPlay, and Android Automobile integration. As well as the BMW Remote Software Update technology.

The 530d xDrive Touring featured in this new picture package in the understated Luxury Line Trim. With the 18-inch, multi-spoke 619 alloy wheels, the sleek Sophisto Grey genius effect exterior paintwork teams up well. The luxurious Dakota leather upholstery in Ivory White color with black contrast stitching completed the cabin. The BMW Individual Sen wood veneers and the ceramic coated dashboard controls give a further note of distinction to the luxury Bavarian wagon.
