Official Patent Designs of BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe Leaked

Carscoop reveals the official patent designs of the upcoming BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe. These leaked patent designs reveal the proportions and design cues of the vehicle. It has redesigned front and rear bumpers, re-positioned and re-sized reflectors, and different tail pipes as compared to the concept model showcased to the public. The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe will share the platform of the 5-series, 7-series and 5 GT. Six and eight-cylinder petrol and diesel engines will also be available, matted to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Designed with making a GT and a sports car combination in mind, the roof is 100mm lower than the 7 Series models. The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe will make its official debut in 2012.
