BMW unveiled the all-new BMW M6 Gran Coupe at a private event in Nurburgring. The web debut will be this December and the vehicle will go on sale in Summer of 2013. The BMW M6 Gran Coupe is expected to grace the Detroit Auto Show for its very first public appearance in January 2013.

Based on this photos, the design is quite an improvement of the M6 and 6 Series Gran Coupe. The model showcased at the event also had expensive, track-focused M ceramic brakes. Powered by a high revving 560 hp M TwinPower Turbo V8 mated to a high torque 7-speed M-Double Clutch transmission (M-DCT), top speed is limited to 155mph, and 0-62mph is achieved in 4.5 seconds. At launch, this car is rumored to be one of the most beautiful cars that BMW has ever made.
