The new BMW 6 Series Coupe Concept is extremely likeable at first glance — this is how BMW enthusiasts view the vehicle compared to the previous generation.
The aggressive yet sophisticated form and design lines of this new car may seem remarkable, but if compared side by side with the previous generations, the difference is not that dramatic. The general shape and form is very similar. It is in the details that the BMW 6 Series Concept departs from its predecessor. It features more taut lines, adding tension and dynamic feel at the front area of the vehicle. The higher belt-line and nose added the attitude that the E63 was lacking. The rear flank of the new 6 Series is also slightly bulging with flowing lines creating athleticism and aggressive qualities. The interior is also not reinvented. It is very similar to the E63 interior. It is again in the details where the new 6 Series gets better. Overall, the difference is more evolutionary than revolutionary.
