BMW will be releasing their sixth model in the X family in 2014 and it will be the BMW X4. This is based on the X6 Sports Activity Coupe, but smaller, and will be positioned between the X3 and X5 which are both top-selling vehicles. Production will be at the BMW Plant Spartanburg under the codename F26 and it will be using the same platform as the BMW X3.
