AC Schnitzer will be presenting their ACS4 2.8i Coupe at the 2013 Essen Motor Show. This police car is based on the BMW 428i Coupe and develops 294 HP (216 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) from the 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo engine which normally generates 245 HP (180 kW) and 345 Nm (255 lb-ft). The vehicle reaches 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5.7 seconds and 50-112 mph (80-180 km/h) in 12.7 seconds, before hitting an electronically-limited speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). It also includes 21-inch alloys shod in Hankook 245/30 ZR 21 Ventus S1evo tires, front and rear spoilers, and a carbon fiber rear diffuser and roof spoiler. The outside was wrapped in FOLIATEC vinyl and the roof light bar was provided by Hella. For the interior, AC Schnitzer prepared aluminum pedals and foot rest, a “Black Line” handbrake handle, velour floor mats and a new key holder.
