The BMW i Division presents the BMW i Vision Future Interaction! The car is exhibited at BMW Lenchbachplatz along with the BMW i8 and the 740Le iPerformance.
We already know that the BMW i Vision Future Interaction was based on the BMW i8 Concept Spyder. It’s all about the autonomous driving, hybrid technology, and the connectivity. In one word, it represents future. And you know what, seems like future is already here.
The first thing you’ll notice on the inside is a big display which takes over the entire dashboard. The driver can easily operate the display by (nearly) touching it – it works like a touchscreen, but doesn’t actually require physical contact.
There are three driving modes available – Pure Drive, in which you drive yourself, Assist, where the assistance system will help you, and Auto Mode, which is completely automated.
You can see it in person if you happen to be in Munich. It is showcased at the BMW i pavilion at Lenbachplatz, near the city pedestrian zone. Anyone can visit.
