The BMW X5, X6 and the X3 all originate from the DesignWorks Californian studio.

Recently, BMW Designworks has created a team up with Siemens in designing a new Metro-generation. The new subway cars will be named Siemens Inspiro, and will be composed of 97.5% recyclable materials.

The Metro cars meet all the safety regulations based on the latest crash testing regulations and fire protection. High-sensitive door monitoring, different seating configurations, and the length of the train can all be customized. The train boasts of a low noise and highly utilizable interior with ambient lighting. More space is created by the support poles designed as branching trees to minimize physical interactions with passengers.

The Siemens Inspiro metro cars will make its debut in Warsaw, Poland in 2012.
