As the 2012 BMW M5 concept vehicle’s unveiling approaches at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show, prototypes continue the testing process in various weather conditions. This BMW M5 was spotted in Sweden for its winter testing. This photo reveals almost the entire front part of the new M5. The headlights are completely unveiled. The typical M aggressive bumper is also seen. The 2012 BMW M5 is powered by an updated version of the engine found in the BMW X5 M and X6 M. The 4.4-liter V8 twin-scroll powerplant delivering 578-horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle accelerates from 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds. The production vehicle will be released later this year with sales beginning in early 2012.
