A prototype BMW Front Wheel Drive vehicle was spotted on the streets of Germany as it goes testing. This 2013 BMW with front-wheel drive architecture is designed like a small van and and shares its basic architecture with the next MINI. Previous rumors have included that the BMW mini-van also known internally as the Advanced Family Sports Activity Tourer (AFAST), was designed to combine the features of an MPV and an SAV. The result is a sporty car-like vehicle that offers advantages in space, flexibility and driving dynamics. An optional xDrive might be offered at launch time. Car Magazine says that BMW is planning to make this a part of the 1 Series fleet, though no confirmation about the badge has been made yet.
