Here are the very first spy photos of the new 2012 BMW 3 Series Li. This vehicle with a long- wheelbase is specifically developed to address the interests of the Chinese market — which has been a key part of the success that BMW has achieved in the past few years. This will serve as a premium luxury vehicle for Chinese customers who like to be chauffeured but does not want to spend too much.
Rumor has it that the vehicle will enter the production lines in BMW’s China plant and will share the same extended platform as the upcoming BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo. It’s interior will feature a standalone LCD screen just like the new 6 Series and dashboard, controls and gauges with Black Panel technology similar to the 5 Series Sedan and Gran Turismo.
The BMW 3 Series Li will make its world premiere at the Beijing Autoshow in April 2012.
