The new 2013 BMW M6 Convertible test mule was spotted at the Bayonne Military Ocean Terminal in New Jersey, USA. The vehicle will first launch the M6 Convertible in June 2012. Three months later, the M6 Coupe version will follow.
This spy shot does not show the expected characteristics of the BMW M6 Convertible including an aggressive front apron with vertical air intakes for the air curtains. At the rear, the typical M four tailpipes are present, along with a diffuser framing.
It will most likely be powered by a 4.4 liter V8 turbocharged engine with horsepower delivering approximately 600Â horsepower mated to a 7-speed M double-clutch gearbox. With this much power increase, we expect the M6 vehicles to run from 0 to 62 mph in less than 4.5 seconds.
