The next generation BMW 6 Series Convertible is spotted in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. wearing heavy camouflage and its dashboard covered up. Based on these spy photos, it looks like the design cues are the same with the BMW 6 Series Coupe concept. It also has shorter overhangs and wider fender flares. Dimensions are between the new 5 Series and the 7 Series. It features corona ring headlights, larger taillights, and L-shaped LEDs. Recent photos negate the rumors that the 6 Series Cabrio will be a hard top.
The new BMW 6 Series will be available in diesel and petrol versions. The luxury diesel model 640d will be powered by the N57 turbocharged straight-6 common rail diesel engine outputting 306 horsepower. The 650i will be powered by the 4.4 liter V8 Twin-turbo engine.
