The new BMW 6 Series Coupe has already been unveiled. Thus, the focus of BMW engineers is now concentrated on the testing of the new 2012 BMW M6.
Dubbed as a Segler car, named after BMW M Boss Dr. Kay Segler, the 2012 BMW M6 changes the design features of the M cars. This revolutionary look will make its way to future M cars as well.
In the spy video below, the M6 prototype carries usual wider rear fenders and the typical four-tailpipe exhaust system common to M models. The front shows a more aggressive M-style bumper with integrated diffuser. Most likely, this will be powered by an upgraded version of the 4.4 liter V8 engine, capable of almost 600 horsepower exclusively directed to the rear wheels for an impressive acceleration.
The new M6 Coupe will make its world premiers at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2012. The M6 Cabrio will also be launched in 2012. In 2013, the M6 Gran Coupe will arrive.
