Spy Video – 2012 BMW M5 Testing at Nurburgring

Another 2012 BMW M5 prototype has been spotted testing in Nurburgring. BMW is expected to unveil a concept of the new M5 in Spring 2011 and the world premiere will be at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. A production variant will also make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011.

This video by Car Magazine makes us hear the smooth sound of the engine and perfect shifting. Back in June, M boss Dr. Kay Segler confirmed that the next generation 2012 BMW M5 will be powered by a V8 turbocharged engine. This vehicle will bring up to 25 to 30% more fuel efficiency compared to the current E60 M5.
