The 2021 BMW 420d with M Sport Package and Alpine White finish

The latest 2021 BMW 4 Series Coupe has just been introduced to the market in the Czech Republic. The BMW 420d with the M Sport package and the Alpine White shade is taken forward by the photo gallery below.

These new images highlight the combination of the immaculate white with the polished chrome elements compared to previous pictures. The Extended Shadow Line package, can always be added of course. This package brings some black accents against the Alpine White paint.

Although all the previous images of the BMW 4 Series G22 were based on the petrol engine, for the first time, we are now seeing the 420d xDrive. In its 190hp expansion phase, it is the only diesel option on the market whose launch uses the four-cylinder B47. Which is known from various model series.

It also comes with a 48-volt electrical system which brings an extra 8 kW(11 hp). The 420d can produce plenty of power under load, with its 400 Newton meters of torque from 1,750 rpm.

The G22 BMW 420d is currently the only 4 Series model available with all-wheel drive xDrive. Below the top model M440i. The range will be greatly extended in the course of the coming year.

The BMW 430d xDrive and the first BMW M440d xDrive will add two additional options from March 2021. Which will be based on powerful diesel engines with 48-volt electrical systems as well as all-wheel traction. With 286 hp and a strong 650 Nm of torque, the latest 430d comes with the M440d. While the driver has 340 hp and 700 Nm of torque available.

Whereas the 420d rear-wheel-drive completes the standard sprint in 7.1 seconds from 0 to 100. The heavier 420d xDrive requires 7.4 seconds. These sprints can be run much faster by the upcoming six-cylinder diesel. The BMW 430d will run the standard sprint in 5.2 seconds according to the factory specifications. While the M440d at 4.7 seconds is noticeably faster again.
